Due to the expected rain tomorrow and the Governor calling a State of Emergency, all afterschool activities and athletic events will be canceled tomorrow evening and the buildings will be closed promptly at 4:00 pm. Please stay safe everyone!

Cresskill Middle and High School will be closed for Monday, December 18th due to flooding of the front parking lot. The building remains unaffected. The elementary schools will remain on a delayed opening schedule and follow the delayed opening schedule.

Come celebrate the retirement of Denise Villani and Mary Klein at the upcoming BOE meeting on December 11th at 6:30 pm in the high school student center. Between the two of them, they put in 27 years of service to benefit the children of Cresskill.

This is just a reminder that we are hosting our second Strategic Planning Meeting at LG North American Headquarters from 7-9 PM tonight. We are looking for students, staff, residents, parents, and community members that want to help plan the innovation and learning for our next five years. All are invited to 111 Sylvan Way in Englewood Cliffs to sign up to participate on committees and to view LG's Innovative Learning Labs.

Just a reminder that we are hosting "Trauma Informed Parenting" as part of our Coffee with the Superintendent series. In-person is at 8:30 AM in the EHB Cafeteria. Virtual is this evening at 8:00 PM. All are welcome!
Next Monday, November 6th, Dr. Hughes and Dr. Amato will be hosting a special event for TRAUMA INFORMED PARENTING in person at 8:30 am at EHB and virtually at 8:00 pm to discuss ways to support children through times of trauma.
These sessions will focus in particular on helping our children with resilience, provide helpful insight into their needs and how to provide a supportive environment at home and school. We will also discuss the importance of self-care for parents. All are invited, but especially those impacted by the war.

Some great protections are being put into place as we fix our front drainage and install new flood barriers. This will work to greatly enhance the protection of our high school from any threats of water.
