Janelle Amato is the Supervisor of Special Services. Prior to this position, she served as a school psychologist for Cresskill Public Schools and other local NJ school districts. She is an adjunct professor at a local university. Dr. Amato is committed to the education of all students and is proud to supervise programs ranging from ages 3 to 21.
Colby Mulkeen is the newly appointed Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant. He is a graduate of Siena College and Montclair State University. Colby's experiences include sharing current best practices and resources with peers to promote informed decision making in the classroom and assessing and analyzing students’ learning characteristics.
Jennifer Pappachristou is a school psychologist, who has worked in the Cresskill School District since 2004. She performs psychological assessments of intelligence, behavioral, and social/emotional functioning of students ranging in age from preschool to high school. She provides counseling, social skills training, and crisis intervention.
Cassandra Comperatore is a school psychologist, who has worked in the Cresskill School District since 2012. She performs psychological assessments of intelligence, behavioral, and social/emotional functioning of students ranging from preschool to high school. She also provides counseling, social skills training and crisis intervention.
Lindsay Welker is a School Social Worker and is one of the newest additions to the Child Study Team. She joins the team with seven years of experience in private special education and, in addition to her MSW, holds a Teacher of Students with Disabilities Standard Certificate. Ms. Welker will be actively involved in case management, counseling, and social/emotional assessments. In addition, Ms. Welker will also be working collaboratively with the district’s Community Steps to Independence program.
Revital Sholomon is a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant. Ms. Sholomon is trained in assessing students’ learning styles. She recommends optimal placements with modifications and accommodations based on the individual needs of the student.
